Ambassador School aims to make learning relevant and meaningful to students by adopting an inquiry-based, integrated curriculum which focuses on the child as a learner. We recognize that every child is a distinct individual with unique experiences, backgrounds, abilities and interests. Our teachers promote cross-cultural understanding, and differentiate instruction to meet students’ varying needs, abilities and learning styles. We provide a balanced education program within a safe, stimulating environment so that each child can learn and grow to their greatest potential.

Our Primary programme provides a broad and balanced curriculum to engage our students and challenge them academically. Our program is designed to combine comprehensive, hands-on instruction, individualized attention, and extensive co-curricular opportunities, preparing them for the challenges of Middle School, Secondary, Sr. Secondary, and beyond.

Our curriculum framework is designed to provide the major content in the key areas of learning to be covered and describe learning outcomes to be achieved by our students. Our language arts program is designed to help students acquire the ability to write and speak well, and to examine, process and use information gained through listening and reading skills. Problem solving, critical thinking and mathematical computation skills are strengthened through a balanced approach.

Technology and library classes impart foundations in research and library skills. In addition, all these subjects enrich classroom areas of study through designed integrated units. Daily physical education classes and recess afford opportunities for play, social interaction, and lessons in teamwork, sportsmanship, and leadership.

The curricular content continues to support the liberal arts background that Ambassador School believes to be an integral part of each student’s educational foundation. In early adolescence, students begin to develop analytical thinking skills. Using the material in each course, Middle School teachers challenge their students to support opinions with facts and to question the world in which they live.
